Sedation Dentistry

Dental treatment causes anxiety is many patients, in order to help patients overcome this phase we at VDH practice sedation dentistry. It is also known as Conscious Sedation where the term conscious means you will be awake and aware during the whole procedure making it different from General Anaesthesia. It is done under the supervision of an anaesthetist who will give you medicine intravenously. It is recommended for patients with anxiety as it calms them down and makes it comfortable to undergo the dental procedure. It is usually advised for patients who undergo multiple teeth extraction, dental implants or multiple dental procedures in a single visit.
